I don't know about you, but I love the DBZ Movies! Now, some of them are admittedly not the best movies in the world, but as far as I'm concerned, if it's a Dragonball Z movie, I want it in my collection. In case you'd like to know more about some of the Dragon Ball Z Movies available, here are some of the descriptions from Funimation, listed on the back of the DVDs. We'll be including our own Movie Reviews shortly as well, since, of course, we have all of them in our own collection!

Dead Zone

Gohan has been kidnapped! To make matters worse, the evil Garlic Junior is gathering the Dragonballs to wish for immortality. Only then will Garlic Junior be able to take over the Earth in order to gain revenge for the death of his father.

Goku rushes to save Gohan, but arrives at the fortress just as Garlic Junior summons the Eternal Dragon! Krillin and Piccolo try to help Goku, but their combined powers are no match for Garlic Junior, who creates a "Dead Zone" to suck the heroes into oblivion! Suddenly, Goku begins to show his hidden power, but will it be enough?

The World's Strongest

Thanks to the Dragon Balls and his dedicated assistant Dr. Kochin, the evil Dr. Wheelo has been freed from his icy tomb. Now these mad scientists plot to take over the world with their fearsome biotechnology. But there's just one hitch: Dr. Wheelo's body died, and now his brain is living in a glass jar!

Dr. Wheelo seeks the best and strongest body on Earth to be the new home for his amazing brain, so Dr. Kochin and their android warriors kidnap Piccolo and Master Roshi in order to determine who is the world?s strongest!

Goku, Gohan, and Krillin come to their friends' rescue, but Dr. Wheelo's henchmen are more than their equal! To make matters worse, Dr. Wheelo already controls Piccolo. His next target is Goku! Will our heroes be able to save the day or lose their minds!

The Tree of Might

A seed of the Tree of Might has been planted on Earth by a group of space pirates. Once rooted, the Tree of Might will devour all life energy, leaving the land a deserted wasteland where no living thing can survive. Goku and friends try to destroy the tree, but their power is not enough.

Suddenly, they are attacked by the evil space pirates, and Gohan is captured by Turles, the evil leader of the group and a Saiyan! Turles powers up by eating a piece of fruit from the tree and begins a ferocious assault on Goku. Will Goku be able to rescue his son, defeat Turles, and save Earth?!

Lord Slug

The end of the world is fast approaching, in the form of a giant asteroid on a collision course with Earth. But not if Goku has anything to say about it! Goku and Krillin race to the rescue. Using their incredible powers, they narrowly deflect the asteroid from its deadly course. The Earth is saved, or is it?

A dark vessel descends from the surface of the asteroid, carrying a powerful new enemy, the evil overlord, Lord Slug. His forces have come to take control of the Earth and steal its natural resources, only in the process they intend to wipe out the entire human race! And when Lord Slug discovers the seven magic Dragon Balls, it seems nothing can stop his diabolical plans from coming to pass!

Now that Lord Slug has the power of the Dragon Balls in his grasp, can even Goku save the Earth from the clutches of this mysterious invader?

Cooler's Revenge

Saving the universe can be a tiring business! So after their big battle with Frieza on Namek, Goku, Gohan, Krillin, and Oolong decide to take a little camping trip for some rest and relaxation back on Earth. But their peaceful weekend is soon interrupted by a menacing force.

Frieza has a brother: Cooler! And with his powerful Armored Squadron, he has come to Earth seeking revenge. Cooler will not rest until the man who destroyed his brother is vanquished, even if that means blowing up the entire planet!

Goku was able to tap into his hidden powers and transform into a Super Saiyan once before. The question is, now that the Earth is threatened by Frieza's older (and stronger) brother, can he do it again?

Return of Cooler

New Namek is besieged by an enormous evil entity, the Big Gete Star, which is a "living planet" of metal that sustains itself by devouring entire worlds.

Fearing for the existence of his people, Dende, the new guardian of Earth, turns to Goku and his friends for help. The Z Fighters spring into action in an effort to save the new Namekian home world from this invading menace, but their fight won't be easy! The Big Gete Star has an army of powerful Cyclopean Guards at its disposal, and what's more, at the heart of this metal giant lurks an old enemy, Cooler!

Super Android 13



When the peace of a routine day is interrupted by violent explosions it seems like the world is under siege! But Goku quickly realizes that he is the target of the sudden attack! Who are these strange assassins? When Goku discovers that despite their great power, the culprits are not emitting an energy signal, it can only mean one thing: Androids!

With Dr. Gero dead, just who is responsible for master-minding this new wave of Androids that are stronger, faster, and ten times more deadly than before? The mystery unravels itself as the Android assault begins!

Bardock: The Father of Goku

When a low-class Saiyan soldier named Bardock unexpectedly inherits the ability to see into the future, his life takes a dramatic turn for the worse! Haunted by visions of his own end as well as the destruction of his entire planet, Bardock sets off on a nightmarish race with fate to avert the impending disaster.

But Bardock seems to be stumbling along in a maze of hopeless despair until a vision of his baby son, Kakarot, as a grown man inspires him to make a change and confront his destiny head on!

The History of Trunks

When Goku dies of a deadly virus, it seems like the end of the world. But the powerful Master's passing proves to be merely a presage of the horrible tragedies that are on the way!

When two Androids appear and start destroying the great cities of the Earth, the planet is plunged into darkness and its inhabitants are living in fear. But there is one last hope! Goku's son, Gohan is now a man, and though outnumbered by the demonic Androids, he does have a special young teenager named Trunks on his side!

As Gohan trains Trunks, it seems like the world is collapsing around them! Can they put a stop to the horrible progression of evil? This is the story of the future that never was!

Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan

A Saiyan warrior has arrived on Earth. His name is Paragus and he seeks the rightful ruler of the Saiyans, Vegeta! Confessing his loyalty to his new king, Paragus pleads with the powerful warrior to vanquish a rampaging Super Saiyan who is threatening to destroy the entire galaxy!

But when King Kai learns of the Super Saiyan threat he begs Goku to rush to the scene of the action to take care of the problem himself. Sparks will fly as Goku and Vegeta clash over who is to be the one to confront the galaxy?s new menace.

However, the mysterious Paragus is not what he seems. What information does he have about Goku and Vegeta?s past?
